Public carsharing is usually operated by a firm or company whose customers or members may use this service on the basis of membership in the company or registration. The system operator can be a business company created in this way, or, for example, a cooperative or a public benefit company.

The fundamental and revolutionary idea of ​​this concept of public carsharing is the fact that it is not necessary to rent a vehicle for the whole day and it is difficult to pick it up and return it at the provider’s headquarters. The customer uses any car of the operator, which is currently available and which is closest to him, while paying only for the time when the vehicle is used. And there is a fundamental difference between carsharing and conventional car rental.

Vehicles in this system are not only located in one car rental place, but throughout the city. They stand either on reserved stands or are parked anywhere. The customer then uses the Internet or an application on a mobile phone to easily find out where the nearest vehicle is, whether it is available for driving and at the same time book it. As a registered member of the system, customer then simply opens the car with his card or mobile phone and drives the vehicle where it needs to go. After parking, the vehicle is then available to other customers, who can find and use it again using the application.

There are several fundamental differences between a classic car rental and carsharing. They result from the very essence of carsharing, and that is to enable people to use a car at any time without having to own and take care of it.

CarSharing cars are closer to you
Carsharing strives to have vehicles throughout the city in as many places as possible, so that you always have a car within easy walking distance. It is therefore not necessary to travel throughout the city to a remote car rental company, but you can simply pick up “your” vehicle on the street near your place of residence or workplace .

CarSharing is available to you faster
In order to be able to use carsharing, all you have to do is visit the provider of this service only once and enter into a single framework agreement, on the basis of which the operator will issue you a chip card for access to vehicles in the system. Subsequently, you will only find the nearest vehicle yourself via the Internet or mobile applications, book it and also open and go with the card. You do not have to go to the operator in person for each car rental and conclude the relevant contracts over and over again.

You will only rent a carsharing vehicle for the time you really need it
Carsharing is unique in that you can rent and pay for a car only for the time you really need it. Do you just need to take your child to school or go shopping? Then you can simply rent the car for the necessary time and then return it again. You don’t have to pay for the whole day, but only for the real time you need the car for.

Cooperation of carsharing companies with car rentals
We perceive a trend in the world that carsharing companies and car rental companies often cooperate. Does it seem illogical to you why competitors complement each other? In fact, carsharing does not compete with traditional rental companies, but on the contrary expands their offer and vice versa. Generally speaking, a classic car rental company pays off for long-term car rental, and carsharing for short-term car rental. For this reason, individual operators also offer their customers mutual discounts or other services.

The difference is that in public carsharing, cars can be rented by anyone who is logged in to the service and finds parked cars in various places in the application. In community carsharing, it is only a selected community of people (employees of companies in business centers or companies, young families in housing estates or visitors to hotels…), who are usually in close proximity to a permanent parking space with a charging station.

There are a number of models of carsharing, but they all have one thing in common – more people use one car. Carsharing is therefore a service that allows its customers to use a car without having to own it or take care of its operation and maintenance.

Community car sharing means less noise, less dirt and more parking spaces for all of us. We work mainly in business centers, in urban areas, in companies or in hotels. We want to reduce air pollution in cities, which is why we use electric vehicles.

The flexiBee service is intended for the community of people and is based on the principle of sharing electric vehicles. We are convinced that shared electric mobility will benefit us and our environment. We are working to get our service to an even greater number of our cities.

The flexiBee service is mainly used by employees in companies based in business centers and public administration offices, young families, individuals, hotel visitors or small entrepreneurs and sole traders. In short, all those who need to drive a car, but are looking for a cheaper option than having to physically own a car.

Yes, our entire Renault ZOE fleet is electric. This is because an electric motor is simply the best automotive solution for our cities. In a short time, we will expand our service with electric scooters.

No, you only pay for the rented time with no mileage limit.

Yes. All vehicles are insured against liability. Liability fees are already included in the price of the service.

All our vehicles are equipped with: automatic transmission, start-stop system, air conditioning, radio, navigation, Bluetooth, reversing camera, front airbags, ABS, GPS monitoring system and many more.

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a group B or B1 driving license.

Driving and operating an electric vehicle is simple. Compared to a petrol car, you will encounter the following differences in an electric car:

  • There are only two foot pedals: the right accelerator pedal (accelerator pedal) and the left pedal is the brake. Both of these pedals are operated only with the right foot. We do not use our left foot in an electric car at all.
  • The gearshift lever replaces the gearshift lever:
    • P – means Parking mode.
    • R – indicates Reverse.
    • N – means Neutral.
    • D – represents Drive mode and is used to drive forward.
  • Electric cars have maximum torque available in the entire speed range. This means that full engine power is available from the first step on pedal. As a result, electric cars have better acceleration.
  • The electric car is quiet, so pay more attention to pedestrians who do not hear it.

The customer pays a low one-time administrative fee for registering for the service.

The flexi-Bee mobile application is free and available for both Android and iOS. It can be downloaded via the Google Play store or the App Store under the name flexi-Bee .

As soon as you receive an email with a password and log in to the mobile application, you can book a car at any time during business hours by following these steps :

  • Log in to the flexiBee mobile application
  • Find a free date on the car
  • Book your time and a specific car
  • Are you standing by the car? Follow the steps in the app to unlock your car.

Make sure you have your driver’s license with you and follow the instructions in the app:

  • Check that the outside of the car is not damaged, scratched or heavily soiled
  • Check the cleanliness of the vehicle in the interior
  • Choose an electronic key fob from the front passenger compartment
  • Enter the km status on the right of the dashboard into the application
  • Depress the brake pedal and press the START / STOP button

If you see damage or gross soiling of the vehicle, write it in the application or call us at the service number, which you will find in the application.

Yes, please inspect the vehicle carefully before renting. To protect and exclude liability, all damage or significant dirt must be reported before driving. If the vehicle is damaged or heavily soiled, it must be recorded in the application.

Yes, you can cancel your reservation free of charge, but no later than one hour before the start of the reservation.

Nothing happens because all vehicles in the flexiBee service are insured against accidents. Accidents and thefts are equipped in the same way as if you have your own vehicle, with the only difference that we will arrange everything for you. The customer only pays the co-payment, as he would have paid if he had owned the car.

You can park your car anywhere in the parking spaces.

If you have a car rented, you can park anywhere during your reservation. However, handing over the vehicle and ending the rental period must only take place at the same place where you picked up the car.

After handing over the vehicle via the flexiBee application, it is no longer possible to enter the vehicle without further reservation, so please make sure that you have all your belongings removed from the car.

  • Park the vehicle at the place from which you rented it.
  • Close all windows and doors, as well as the trunk.
  • Move the control lever to the PARK position and apply the parking brake.
  • Press the START / STOP button to switch off the engine part of the vehicle.
  • In the application, press the “Upload” button and follow the instructions in each step. Check the interior, the faultless condition of which you will confirm when handing over the vehicle in the application, as well as the exterior of the vehicle.

If the application prompts you to connect the vehicle to the power supply, press the button for opening the power connector (button with the plug pictogram), which is located at the bottom left of the steering wheel, or on the electronic key. Go to the front of the vehicle, open the Renault door, then the black cover of the power connector socket itself and plug in the power cable. Do not manipulate the plug anymore, the successful connection will be announced by an audible signal.

Insert the vehicle keys into the slot provided in the compartment to the right of the driver. Upon successful detection of the presence of the key, the sensor emits an acoustic signal. After this acoustic signal, you will be able to successfully click on the “Upload keys” button in the application. In the application, continue to “Lock vehicle” and complete the handover of the vehicle.

Please note that it will only be possible to hand over the vehicle in the application if all the doors, the front and rear trunk are properly closed, the windows removed and the electronic key inserted in the slot in the passenger compartment. The door to the power socket in the Renault logo must also be closed, but if it is necessary to power the vehicle, the power connector in the socket must be plugged in.

The flexiBee service is primarily intended for transport and driving in cities. The service is unsuitable as long-distance transport, as Renault ZOE electric vehicles have a range of around 250 km when fully charged. This range is closely linked to several factors that affect it, such as: driver’s driving style, driving speed above 100km/h, appliances switched on in summer or winter: air conditioning, heating, seat heating, ECO mode, etc.… From these facts, that the real range of the car after a full charge is without restrictions in summer about 280 km and in winter about 250 km.

You can rent the vehicle for max. 4 hours a day per reservation.

Unfortunately not, flexiBee vehicles are not allowed to be used abroad, due to the different legislative conditions in these neighboring countries. Leaving the territory of the Slovak Republic will lead to the imposition of a fine.

To end the rental, you need to park the vehicle in a reserved place where you picked it up at the beginning of the rental. Please check that the windows, doors and trunk are closed, move the automatic transmission selector to “P” (PARK). Apply the parking brake and switch off the ignition by pressing the “STOP” button. Get out of the vehicle, close the door and press the “EXIT” button in the mobile application. Please make sure the vehicle is locked by pulling the handle on the driver’s door.

You don’t need keys to open the car and start the rental – you open the car using the flexiBee mobile application.

During the process of downloading the vehicle in the flexiBee application, you select the electronic keys from the slot in the compartment and then (after completing the download of the vehicle in the application) you can start the vehicle with the START / STOP button.

The transport of animals in a car is allowed only provided that the animal is transported in a special and suitable transport cage and there is no contact of the animal with the interior of the vehicle. The transport of large animals is prohibited. If you leave your fur in the vehicle, you will be fined according to the General Terms and Conditions.

Transport of heavy loads is not permitted.

Yes, all our vehicles have a USB charging cable for all types of smartphones in the compartment in front of the passenger. After use, return the charging cable to the compartment again.

The fully charged Renault ZOE electric car has a range of up to 300 km (approx. 280 km in summer and 250 km in winter). The current battery status and range are always visible on the vehicle display.

It is usually not necessary for the customer to charge the electric car during or after the reservation, as the electric car is usually charged at night. Should this be necessary, the flexiBee mobile application will prompt the user to connect it to the charger during the handover and will guide you step by step through the procedure for doing so.

All our vehicles are equipped with a USB charging cable with connectors for all types of mobile phones. This cable is located in the compartment in front of the passenger, so you can easily charge your mobile phone while driving.

You can only park the vehicle in reserved parking spaces. Always make sure you do not block other vehicles. Never park in a pedestrian zone or in places that are not intended for car parking. You always end the ride at the place where you took it.

When using the flexiBee service, you are obliged to follow the Traffic Rules. Therefore, you are responsible for any fines you receive during the rental period or for poor parking during the rental.

Yes, you can also park your car in the underground garages during the rental. To lock and unlock the vehicle, use the electronic vehicle key located in the compartment in front of the front passenger.

Check that all doors, windows, trunk and doors of the vehicle’s power supply cover (Renault symbol on the front of the vehicle) are closed, or that power is in progress (if you have previously plugged it in) by flashing (breathing) the ZOE sign above the power connector. The power supply will also be announced on the display inside the vehicle.

It’s easy, park the vehicle first. After getting out of the vehicle, always remember to bring an electronic key fob located in the compartment in front of the front passenger. Press the button on the electronic key fob with the “locked lock” symbol to lock the car. To unlock the car again, press the button with the “open lock” symbol. In our service, you only pay for the rented time of the vehicle, not for the km traveled. The price depends on which package of services you have subscribed to. The price of individual packages of services ranges from 9 to 14, – € / hour

Každý zaradený užívateľ do služby flexiBee má možnosť vidieť v aplikácii presnú cenu za rezervovaný čas pri vytváraní svojej rezervácie.

Firemný zákazník má platby za službu realizované sumárne, raz mesačne. Súkromná osoba má priamo v aplikácii možnosť uhradiť súkromnú jazdu pomocou platobnej brány,  ktorá je súčasťou aplikácie.

Auto má uzatvorené havarijné poistenie. V prípade poistnej udalosti,  ktorú spôsobil používateľ  je spoluúčasť  5% maximálne však do výšky 166,-€ .

Počas jazdy ste povinný dodržiavať dopravné predpisy. Všetky pokuty ktoré dostanete počas doby vypožičania alebo za zlé parkovanie, Vám budú zosobnené.

Počas jazdy musíte mať pri sebe platný vodičský preukaz. Pre prípad policajnej kontroly nájdete všetky potrebné dokumenty od vozidla v zložke ktorá je uložená v priehradke pred spolujazdcom.
